A Conference and Light Meal

An Event of Interfaith Bridging Initiative (IBI)

Rescheduled to Fall of 2008

Key Note Speaker: Prof. Kenneth Fox,
Hamline University

It is comparatively easy to to make common cause with a neighbor of another faith if the focus remains on shared precepts - e.g.the golden rule. If, however, enhanced understanding across religious boundaries is to move from fuzzy good will to transformative shifts in perspective, at some point it becomes necessary to move past political correctness and confront the places where we differ. And to do this effectively, requires tools. At this conference, we will reflect on and work with the needed tools.
